Léo Campion (1905-1992)

Caricaturist, comedian, writer, actor, but, above all, known as a singer of French chansons. He was an anarchist who rejected all received ideas. During the war he was a member of the resistance.

In Le drapeau noir, l'équerre et le compas (The black flag, the square and the compasses), he wrote: Although the anarchist freemasons form a disabled minority, the libertarian vocation of freemasonry is undeniable ... it is the only association to which one who adheres to nothing can adhere.
