Why a Women's freemasonry ?

The general evolution in our societies also entailed that of women. Acceleration of history as well as scientific and technical progress have turned traditional ideas upside down.

Aware of their liberties and obligations, as well as of their capacity to shape a more humane world, women are irresistibly attracted by new responsabilities of economic, social, moral or spiritual nature.

As free and responsible women, it is their duty to fully participate to the construction of a society as a factor of both evolution and of transmission of traditions.

Freemasonry can help women to acquire the wisdom, inner equilibrium and strength required for such an undertaking. Initiatory tradition and its symbolism indeed allow them to come to maturity through individual and collective enrichment and deepening of knowledge. 

By opting for Woman's freemasonry, women consider themselves as more apt to achieve this goal by working with other women with sensitivities close to eachother.

In the serenity of our Lodges, each one can develop her conscience, her freedom, her sense of duty, learn real democracy, experience brotherly love and tolerance. As she fully becomes herself, she can experience equality while asserting her difference and her inner wealth.

Freemasonry bans all distinctions of nationality, race, belief, opinion, wealth or social status. It asks its members to be sincere in pursuing the truth and to live in the outside world according to its principles.
