Paul Pastur (1866-1938)

Lawyer and politician from Hainault, founder, with Jules Destrée, of the Democratic Federation in 1892. He devoted himself to more egalitarian education and in 1903 founded l'Université du Travail in Charleroi.

In 1927 he introduced Mother's Day into Belgium.
