Goswin de Stassart (1780-1854)

Poet and politician. He was one of the founders of the independent state of Belgium and became President of the Senate and Governor of the provinces of Namur and Brabant.

First Grand Master of the Grand Orient of Belgium, from 1833 till 1841.
